Do you enjoy living in Otterbourne?
Would you like to have some influence on
what happens in your village?
Have you thought of joining your Parish Council?
There are currently two vacancies to be filled by co-option.
WHAT THE PARISH COUNCIL DOES
It is involved in making decisions about many aspects of village life
including: play areas, recreation grounds and open spaces,
footpaths and street care, conservation,
planning and development and many other matters,
as well as spending £40,000 of your annual Council Tax.
WORKING AS A COUNILLOR
Councillors want to take part in our village: to make improvements
and ensure it remains a safe and pleasant place in which to live.
Come along to a meeting to see how we work and either contact the
Parish Clerk or fill out the website form for more information.
